Description

Mode of action:

Carbofuran and its metabolite, 3-hydroxycarbofuran, exert their toxicity by reversibly inhibiting acetylcholinesterase (AChE)¹⁰ leading to the persistent action of the otherwise hydrolyzed neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, on its postsynaptic receptors.

Terget Crop: soil and foliar pests of field, fruit, vegetable, and forest crops.

Terget Pest: insects, mites, and nematodes on contact or after ingestion.
